Position Overview
As a vital member of our team at JVH EXCAVATING, INC., the Heavy Machinery Technician will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of our extensive fleet of machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate effective communication skills with both field personnel and supervisory staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on all machinery and company vehicles, including both owned and rented equipment.
- Uphold a leadership role in safety practices and work standards.
- Service equipment at various job locations, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain organized records and complete work orders in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic.
- Proficiency in working with heavy machinery brands such as Komatsu, Cat, Bobcat, and Case.
- Experience with Tri-Axle dump trucks, including Mack, Kenworth, and Volvo, is preferred.
- Familiarity with light vehicles, including pickups and passenger cars, is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
