Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain Licensure and Continuing Education: Ensure current licensure and continuing medical education credits as required by Maryland State Law.
- Communicate with Colleagues: Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
- Take Call and Refer Patients: Take call for the group on scheduled days and refer patients to appropriate specialists as necessary.
- Adhere to Established Procedures: Perform duties in accordance with established routine procedures as set forth by the State of Maryland, BPQA, AMA, HCFA, and AAHS policies.
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine (Doctor degree) and completion of residency in specified field of specialty.
- License and Certifications: Current state license to practice medicine, DEA, and CDS Board certificate in area of specialty.
