Optometric Assistant

We're seeking a charismatic and knowledgeable Optometric Assistant to join our team at Visionworks. As a Telehealth Specialist, you'll be the face of our patient care, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for every patient during our remote eye exams.

You'll be trained and equipped to handle preliminary testing, optics, and managed vision care, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting remote eye exam processes and acting as liaison between patients and Telemedicine Remote Physicians
• Maintaining complete and accurate patient records
• Introducing patients to ODs and providing ODs with important patient information
• Transitioning patients from doctor to sales floor and providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services
• Executing day-to-day operational activities to support exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals

Requirements:

Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary. HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
