Job Title: Lead Plumbing Engineer

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a highly skilled Lead Plumbing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing design services for various commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plumbing design solutions for complex projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, construction managers, and other engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing design and engineering, preferably in a design-build mechanical contractor or consultant environment.
  • Excellent understanding of plumbing systems, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Physical Requirements:
  • The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
  • The auditory/hearing abilities required by the job include the ability to hear customers calling by telephone.
Work Environment:

This is a non-exempt position from Monday through Friday. In general, work hours begin and end between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm and are determined by the department head.

Competitive Wages: $44.83 to $56.63 per hour. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others.
