Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project teams, construction sites, and management to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and implement LEAN processes and construction techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and develop direct reports, providing coaching and guidance to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Review job cost, production, safety, and quality on projects to ensure satisfactory progression and ensure the project reaches cost, margin, and profit objectives.
  • Visit job sites to perform work inspections, ensuring conformance to specifications and checking job progress and resolving project and contract issues.
  • Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements and work to eliminate safety hazards from the job site to reduce safety incidents and severity.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of mechanical construction experience required.
  • Prior experience as a Superintendent or similar function is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
  • Multi-family experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, details, and job orders.
  • Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate, and control the work process.
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills.
  • Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year.
