Job Summary

The Exchange Engineer will play a crucial role in providing management, oversight, and maintenance of the Exchange environment, supporting a robust cross-functional userbase of 15K users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily responsibilities to manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange servers and related infrastructure, both on-premises and in M365 Exchange Online.
  • Troubleshoot, with cross-functional teams, Microsoft Exchange issues and escalations.
  • Review regular system monitoring, verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Provide tier 2 and 3 support for Exchange and messaging related issues.
  • Assist users with email configuration, access issues, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain user accounts, distribution groups, resources, and permissions.
  • Implement and manage email security protocols.
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Exchange Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • Working knowledge of email security standards and practices.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification in Microsoft Exchange or related field.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, such as Service Now, Remedy, or HEAT.
  • Familiarity with business operations and best-in-class technology landscape.
