Position Overview: We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Senior Manager for our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and Travel Security. This pivotal role will oversee our security operations team, manage corporate travel safety, and execute strategic security initiatives. Note: This position focuses on physical security operations rather than cyber security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the GSOC team, ensuring continuous monitoring and responsive capabilities.
- Formulate and enforce security protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident response strategies for GSOC.
- Oversee the surveillance of security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and threat intelligence feeds.
- Manage an enterprise-wide mass communication tool.
- Recruit, train, and oversee an operator team responsible for monitoring, assessing, classifying, and coordinating incident response procedures in line with security policies.
- Generate and automate daily, weekly, and monthly analytics/metrics reports on global security incidents, trends, and business impact assessments.
- Design and implement mandatory pre-travel security and safety orientation programs tailored to the risk profiles of various destinations.
- Oversee a 24/7 travel assistance provider contract to deliver global travel medical/security support services for employees as required.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate security risks, analyze trends, and proactively mitigate potential threats.
- Provide customized briefings, destination intelligence reports, and personalized tracking/response capabilities for employees and executives traveling internationally.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in security operations, with a focus on GSOC and travel security.
- Proficient in using Risk Management platforms such as Crisis 24 / Everbridge.
- Experience in establishing a GSOC and other physical security programs from the ground up.
- In-depth knowledge of travel risk management policies and practices for employees abroad.
- Ability to monitor threats across the organization and deploy appropriate resources.
- Strong understanding of security technologies, threat intelligence, travel security best practices, and global security trends.
- Excellent communication skills for training teams and briefing executives.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
