Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is in search of a dedicated, detail-oriented, and skilled professional for the role of Security Operations Specialist III.

Position Summary: The Security Operations Specialist III is tasked with delivering comprehensive security assistance to the client's facility and organization. This role encompasses daily support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct classification assessments of incoming and outgoing communications.
  • Support the upkeep of a document accountability system and related correspondence.
  • Manage the processing of classified mail and maintain receipt records.
  • Oversee the destruction of classified documents and ensure accountability for magnetic media.
  • Provide reproduction services for classified materials.
  • Maintain daily logs for various administrative tasks linked to document control.
  • Assist in the processing of data transfers and inbound information.
  • Facilitate the transfer of electronic files to internal stakeholders.
  • Keep an extensive database of customer contact points.
  • Help with the research, processing, filing, and management of visit notices.
  • Escort visitors within the facility and maintain relevant logs.
  • Assist in the creation of access control badges for the facility.
  • Conduct inspections for entry and exit.
  • Support the maintenance of access control systems, including visitor management.
  • Perform data entry into the Personnel Access Security System and maintain records of all personnel.
  • Assist in the upkeep of security files for all personnel associated with the supported entity.
  • Adhere to and enforce the client's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support security awareness and educational initiatives.
  • Execute various administrative tasks as directed by the site lead or Senior Security Representative.
  • Monitor security clearance processing activities in collaboration with government personnel.
  • Participate in compliance inspections for Air Force SAP security.
  • Implement Top Secret Control for accountable materials and related correspondence.
  • Prepare and process classified mail, faxes, courier packages, and receipts.
  • Review Program Access Requests (PARs) for accuracy and eligibility.
  • Conduct reviews for candidates seeking SAP access through various databases.
  • Maintain current personnel access information in the Air Force Access Data System (AFADS).
  • Conduct indoctrinations for new personnel.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years).
  • Completion of DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training is required for personnel security functions.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Programs.
  • Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with security policies, manuals, and relevant DCIDs/JAFANs.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and engage effectively with DOD, military, civilian personnel, and industry partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Exhibit originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk as part of their duties.

Communication Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, both in person and over the phone, along with excellent written and verbal communication in English.
