Job Summary:

The Computer Information Technology (CIT) Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the CIT academic program in the Technical Careers Division at Lansing Community College. This leadership role requires a commitment to academic excellence, a deep understanding of the evolving technology landscape, and a dedication to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with faculty, staff, industry partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the CIT program meets the needs of students and the demands of the workforce.

Develop and implement strategies to improve program outcomes, student engagement, and faculty support.

Collaborate with the Technical Careers Division to align program goals with college-wide initiatives and priorities.

Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the CIT program.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in academic administration, program leadership, or a related field.

Strong understanding of the CIT field, including emerging trends and technologies.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
