Job Summary:

Candidate must be a US citizen due to contractual and access requirements. This role takes a lead position in developing and guiding the implementation of practical security architectures that mitigate risks based on data sensitivity and operational impacts. The focus will be on supporting Data Protection solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and guide the implementation of security architectures that mitigate risks based on data sensitivity and operational impacts.
  • Support Data Protection solutions.
  • Develop security architectures in alignment with IT and security standards, applicable security and control frameworks, and security best practices.
  • Produce Threat Models to evaluate proposed technical architectures.
  • Document and formally assess control, policy, or standard gaps identified during the development of security architectures or Threat Modeling exercises.
  • Provide detailed technical recommendations on appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate, advise, and consult with colleagues responsible for developing and implementing technical architectures, services, and controls.
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies to address gaps where existing tools and services are deemed inadequate.
  • Develop and apply sound and practical security architecture principles within On Premises and multi-Cloud environments.
  • Produce detailed and accurate security architecture documentation and accompanying narratives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years' experience architecting solutions.
  • 10-15 years' experience in Information Security.
  • Experience communicating with business partners.
  • Use of security patterns and security best practices such as threat modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Years' experience architecting solutions.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
    • Business communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack, application protocols, and security technologies.
    • Understanding of the information technology and information security industries.
    • In-depth expertise in analyzing technical systems and services robustness and making practical recommendations.
    • Expertise in web, mobile, and client application security vulnerabilities, attack methods, and countermeasures.
    • Experience with common information security management frameworks.
    • Knowledge of encryption technologies and common protocols.
    • Able to lead evaluations and recommend solutions to support enterprise security controls.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
