AHRC New York City is one of the largest providers of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities in New York City. Our mission is to advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead full and equitable lives.

Responsibilities
  • Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate integration of various services in planning, implementation, and evaluation of an individual's treatment plan.
  • Generating Needs/Capabilities lists annually, with updates as needed, ensuring each assigned client has an activity schedule, ongoing continuous active treatment, and implementation of an activity schedule as documented.
  • Acting as resident advocate in areas related to cleanliness, adequate clothing, personalized and clean bedrooms, toiletries, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services-related field.
  • Basic knowledge of all clinical areas that comprise the interdisciplinary team for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Good working knowledge of direct care responsibilities and ability to perform such duties.
Benefits
  • $55,000 - $65,000 per year salary range.
