Job Opportunity

Verrill Dana is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Portland, Maine office. As a top full-service law firm, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a flexible work environment that fosters growth and development.

This full-time, non-exempt position will support attorneys in our Litigation Practice Group, handling tasks such as eFiling, document preparation, and research. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, advanced computer proficiency, and a general knowledge of trial court processes and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • E-filing and docketing
  • Preparing and revising legal documents and correspondence
  • Proofreading and maintaining files
  • Calendaring and tracking deadlines
  • Conducting online and general research
  • Providing exceptional client service and team support
