Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations within the market area, ensuring exceptional customer service and identifying potential sales avenues.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Sales Representatives to enhance sales performance and profitability across all market channels.
  • Guarantee that programs sold at key account levels are effectively implemented in the marketplace.
  • Coordinate with delivery and merchandising teams to ensure that retail deliveries meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain clear communication with Account Sales Representatives regarding sales activities to ensure seamless execution at the customer level.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's marketing strategies alongside customer objectives to tailor sales approaches accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver regular business reviews to assigned customers.
  • Work with various departments to ensure accurate pricing is reflected in the sales system for all assigned customers.
  • Understand and uphold the company's merchandising standards for diverse products and categories, training direct reports accordingly.
  • Assess daily workloads and adjust as necessary to accommodate fluctuations in volume or staff availability.
  • Solicit ongoing feedback from key personnel at the account level regarding the performance of direct reports and address any issues promptly.
  • Proactively communicate business challenges, development opportunities, and competitive activities to relevant departments, along with actionable plans to address them.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of five years of sales and/or management experience in a dynamic, competitive environment, ideally within a Direct Service Delivery (DSD) or General Product Company (GPC).
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a talent for motivating teams.
  • A coaching and mentoring mindset.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on creating mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and its clients.
