Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations on our guest floors. The successful candidate will provide guidance to staff to ensure that our rooms exceed Hilton standards and guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the staff selection process, coordinating interviews and interviewing candidates as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling days off, holidays, and vacations, ensuring that our hotel's needs are met while maintaining work-life balance for our staff.
  • Assign staff to established work areas and project duties.
  • Ensure that staff receive proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
  • Review and revise duty lists regularly with staff.
  • Ensure that all proper supply control guidelines are followed, and staff are trained in the use of all chemical products.
  • Identify and correct quality assurance concerns swiftly and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Lead departmental staff meetings and attend ongoing staff development meetings and training courses.
  • Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff to enable each one to perform to their fullest potential.
  • Participate in associate performance evaluations and make recommendations as needed.
  • Monitor staff attendance and take proactive action when patterns of absenteeism are observed.
  • Participate in department safety and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • Handle special requests or projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of progressive housekeeping management experience in a full-service hotel or luxury hotel.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and high responsiveness.
Compensation

The compensation for this position is $48,000.00/Yr. - $58,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
