As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and properly sanitized to the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas and public areas using established checklists and protocols.
  • Ensure that housekeeping departmental standards and checklists are followed at all times.
  • Respond promptly to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items such as cribs, cots, extra towels, and other amenities.
  • Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Work efficiently to ensure timely readiness of rooms for guest arrival.
  • Communicate room readiness promptly to the Front Desk and other relevant departments.
  • Report any necessary maintenance items to the maintenance team.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a clean and healthy environment for guests and staff.
  • Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Sanitize all cleaning tools and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and fellow staff members.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hotel housekeeping or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb ladders, and walk hallways and perimeter of property.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
