Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of six months experience in the hospitality or service sector.
- Proficiency in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Ability to interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Competence in drafting routine reports and correspondence.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with colleagues and staff from sister properties.
- Familiarity with document creation in Excel and Word.
- Understanding of various computer applications, including Property Management Systems.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to operational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Complete all checklist items during shifts.
- Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for guests with professionalism and personalization.
- Accurately manage hotel reservations.
- Assist in special project development and execution.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and concerns, collaborating with supervisors to implement solutions.
- Foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
- Ensure all incoming calls are handled courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain a detailed log of guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring resolution.
- Manage cash and credit transactions, balancing shift banks accurately.
- Stay informed about hotel availability, rates, and events that may affect occupancy.
- Issue safety deposit boxes as requested by guests.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of local dining, attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain open communication with all departments and management to meet hotel needs.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the work environment.
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
- Stay vigilant regarding safety protocols throughout the property.
- Participate in relevant meetings and training sessions.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of relevant experience in hospitality or service.
Policy Compliance:
- Adhere to all company loss prevention policies.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential functions safely and effectively.
- Regular, punctual attendance is required.
