Lead Housekeeper Job Description

At MBK Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all resident apartments, common areas, and offices to ensure a clean and safe environment for our residents.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Monitor and report any health, safety, and sanitation concerns to the supervisor.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of housekeeping staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but on-the-job training is available.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to use standard cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Must be mobile and able to execute the physical demands of the housekeeping position.
