Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Protection Specialist to join our team at Ross Stores, Inc. As a Store Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a visible presence at store entrances and exits to deter theft and fraud
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for associates and customers
  • Monitor sales floor for potential theft indicators and address them as directed by store leadership
  • Partner with store leadership to ensure compliance with loss prevention directives and minimize operational shortage
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to support loss prevention initiatives
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred
  • One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred
  • One year loss prevention/security training preferred
  • Active Security Guard License preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the store team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $15.00-$15.50. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location.
