Data Science Summer Associate

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Science Summer Associate to join our Savings Products team.
About the Role:- Support the development of predictive modeling solutions and capabilities driving in-depth understanding of member behaviors and engagement with our products.
- Collaborate with the team to create impactful models that drive product take-up or further our understanding of member engagement with our deposit products.
- Build machine-learning propensity models to predict member behavior.
- Perform complex analytical work on large data sets to better understand member engagement and behavior.
- Support feature engineering work by creating or adjusting flags and/or aggregate data for future modeling efforts.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or other related field.
- Experience with Python (Pyspark), SQL, and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Databricks) and experience working with ambiguity.
