About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse practitioner to provide high-quality care to clients in our program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment services.

Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical Practice: Conduct client history and physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, Clinical Risk Assessments, and ongoing psychopharmacological treatment as needed.
  2. Active Treatment: Provide active treatment for individuals committed to the program and perform additional clinical assessments and medication/treatment-related consultation.
  3. Collateral Consultations: Conduct collateral consultations with community providers, including methadone clinics, specialty medical services, and residential programs.
  4. Education and Collaboration: Consult and educate court systems, community providers, and agencies involved with clients who are committed for treatment.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of the principles and practices of practical nursing, as well as experience working with public or private community-based organizations and resources for treatment or rehabilitation of individuals with a substance use disorder.
  • Qualifications: Current and valid registration as a professional nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and current and valid authorization to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
