About the Department of Developmental Services

Responsibilities

  1. Provide clinical nursing services, including tracheotomy care, g-j tube nutrition, and medication administration.
  2. Participate in collaborative planning to meet the health needs of residents.
  3. Engage in fun activities and community outings with residents.
  4. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and prepare meals according to individual nutritional guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • Able to work collaboratively with peer group and upper management to ensure high-quality care.
