We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to perform Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this role, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran. Your exam findings will be documented electronically through the web portal.

This position is crucial in assisting the United States Veterans Administration with making informed decisions about disability determinations. As a Medical Professional, you will not make disability determinations, but your expert opinions will play a significant role in the decision-making process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing independent medical assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day
  • Analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of exam findings

You must possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and be proficient in using a computer. We offer training and continued support to ensure your success in this role.

This is an IN-PERSON position, working Part-Time on Wednesdays from 9am-5pm. If you are interested in serving the veteran community, working a set schedule during normal business hours, and never being on call, we encourage you to apply.
