Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to enhance our engagement with hyperscale clients and oversee the management of a 500,000-square-foot specialized facility that integrates the elegance of Class A commercial properties with the intricate requirements of hyperscale data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
The Commercial Property Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring a secure and efficient working environment.
- Maintaining the cleanliness, aesthetic appeal, and functionality of the facility's exterior and communal areas.
- Planning, budgeting, and monitoring both operational and capital expenditures.
- Managing vendor performance across various services including custodial, security, landscaping, and maintenance.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify and implement improvements.
- Ensuring adherence to lease agreements to fulfill landlord and tenant responsibilities.
- Addressing tenant inquiries to foster strong relationships.
- Reviewing and enhancing the internal property management guidelines.
- Collaborating with other property managers across different locations.
- Working with the Contract Administration team to oversee vendor relationships.
- Coordinating with the Critical Facility Engineering team as needed.
- Promoting a collaborative team culture focused on excellence in data center operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate and property management.
- A solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- The ability to handle sensitive issues and complex inquiries independently.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to efficiently address concerns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following qualifications will be favored:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, real estate management, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in Class A commercial real estate.
- Familiarity with the data center sector.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires:
- The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Climbing ladders and navigating multiple flights of stairs.
- Standing for extended periods in various environments.
- Basic physical fitness to respond to emergencies swiftly.
Travel Requirements:
