Housekeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Empty and clean trash containers, and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
  • Make up beds and change linens as required, and realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests, and respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
  • Contribute to team efforts, and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Requirements:
  • No previous experience is required, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, and a commitment to providing a high level of service to our customers.
