Overview/Job Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator will be integral in enhancing our marketing initiatives and contributing to the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns. This position offers a valuable opportunity to acquire practical experience in diverse marketing functions and support the advancement of our organization.

Summary of Primary Duties:
  • Assist in the creation and execution of online marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Develop and curate captivating content for various social media platforms and marketing outlets.
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns.
  • Support the organization and management of advertising sales efforts.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices to ensure our social media marketing remains cutting-edge and impactful.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to maintain uniform messaging across all communication channels.
  • Ensure that marketing, promotional, and event materials are properly organized and distributed.
Performance Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with a knack for engaging with the public.
  • Solid understanding of social media dynamics and content generation, particularly on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
  • Proficient graphic design capabilities, with experience in tools such as Canva or similar applications preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-driven and capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Previous experience in marketing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (knowledge of LinkedIn and Hootsuite is a plus).
