About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Pre-Transplant Kidney Coordinator at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a key member of our transplant team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless care of our patients undergoing pre-transplant evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct the care of pre-transplant liver, kidney, or pancreas patients in a clinical setting.
  • Serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the pre-transplant process.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • BLS - Healthcare provider certification.
