Job Title: Key Carrier Coordinator

Join our dynamic team at HomeGoods as a Key Carrier Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our store. As a Key Carrier, you will alternate between Coordinator and Key Carrier roles, taking on leadership responsibilities to ensure exceptional customer service and store performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive experience for every customer
  • Act as Manager on Duty, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan, prioritizing as needed
  • Address customer service issues, providing coaching to Associates
  • Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
  • Ensure Associates adhere to all operational procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities
  • Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates
  • Partner with Management on Associate training needs
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
  • Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
  • Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
