Job Overview:

Nelson-Jameson is on the lookout for a Senior Client Relationship Manager to enhance our dedicated team. The selected individual will collaborate closely with an Account Support Representative within their designated territory. This synergistic Account Team is designed to harness complementary strengths to achieve exceptional outcomes and deliver outstanding customer service in the assigned geographic area.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary focus will be on maximizing and safeguarding the gross margin for specific accounts in alignment with company standards. This role prioritizes delivering superior service to maintain existing business while actively seeking avenues to boost customer expenditure through additional products and services. The objective is to consistently engage with pivotal contacts at current accounts and forge new relationships to retain existing clientele and expand market presence. Furthermore, there is a strategic initiative to identify and attract new target customers within a defined geographic region to enhance Nelson-Jameson's footprint.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proactively manage, retain, and expand assigned customer accounts. Utilize CRM systems to log customer interactions and opportunities as necessary. Monitor and evaluate sales performance, making necessary adjustments to achieve targets. Surpass portfolio gross margin and sales objectives. Actively reach out to assigned accounts to uncover opportunities for increased business. Provide service to assigned customer accounts through direct visits. Offer information regarding products and services. Resolve customer service issues in collaboration with other departments as needed. Regular customer visits will necessitate routine travel with occasional overnight stays. Participate in corporate events, meetings, and training as required. Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and new growth opportunities. Drive sales initiatives, including prospecting, presenting capabilities, providing quotes and proposals, negotiating terms, and finalizing agreements.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of B2B Outside Sales or Food Manufacturing experience. A strong commitment to serving customers promptly. Demonstrated skills in territory management and account development. Proficient in ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills. A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or equivalent experience. Experience as a distributor or manufacturer selling to industrial food or sanitary manufacturing facilities; OR production experience in industrial food or sanitary manufacturing settings. Previous exposure to industrial product lines.
