Position Overview:

KellyMitchell Group is in search of a Sourcing Manager with over 7 years of pertinent experience. This role involves overseeing sourcing activities of moderate complexity and providing assistance for intricate or strategic projects. The position is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sourcing initiatives of moderate complexity
  • Establish commodity and supplier strategies
  • Implement best-practice commodity management and strategic sourcing methodologies
  • Monitor category performance against objectives and conduct supplier evaluations for designated suppliers
  • Effectively communicate with procurement leadership, business stakeholders, and team members regarding strategies, contracts, and project developments
  • Mentor junior staff as required
  • Support highly complex or strategic projects
  • Analyze supply market trends and the existing supply base
  • Develop business cases
  • Create RFx and auction processes
  • Negotiate contract terms
  • Track and report on category performance against established targets
  • Onboard new suppliers
  • Conduct supplier performance assessments
  • Oversee contract execution
  • Forecast demand
  • Identify and propose future sourcing opportunities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in telecommunications and supply chain management
  • Familiarity with ERP planning is beneficial, including demand/supply or allocation planning, preferably in SAP
  • Proficient in data analysis for retail replenishment, allocation, and supply purchasing decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities
