Job Title: Evidence Review Librarian

We are seeking a highly skilled Evidence Review Librarian to join our team at Library Systems & Services. As an Evidence Review Librarian, you will play a critical role in supporting our agency's scientists and researchers in conducting systematic reviews and synthesis of scientific evidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Initial Phases of the Evidence Review Process: Collaborate with our evidence review team to determine the scope of the research, develop and update protocols, and conduct comprehensive literature searches in multiple databases.
  • Develop Search Strategies: Create effective search strategies based on the framework and criteria established by the evidence review team.
  • Manage Citations: Utilize citation management software, such as Zotero, to maintain detailed citations and ensure the highest standards of research and resources.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS or MLIS)
  • Minimum 2-5 Years of Experience: Supporting evidence reviews, including systematic and rapid reviews, with a focus on online databases in food, nutrition, food safety, agriculture, and health sciences.
  • Expertise in Review Management Software: Experience with Covidence or Distiller SR, and citation management software, such as Endnote or Zotero.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and evidence review team members.
