VNS Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering clinical education programs that foster high-quality care and promote evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Collaborate with education staff to develop an annual training calendar, ensuring a coordinated approach to ongoing programs.
- Curriculum Design: Design and modify educational curriculum and training materials to ensure staff has current knowledge and competencies to meet program contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Training Delivery: Deliver program-specific clinical education programs, ensuring that development and delivery meet the strategic objectives of specific programs.
- Performance Improvement: Review program-specific educational program outcomes and program evaluations to determine areas for improvement and make recommendations for change and/or new programs.
- Staff Development: Train and/or oversee training of new and current staff in VNS Health/program philosophy, policy, standards, procedures, documentation, models for service delivery, and efficient, productive, cost-effective work processes.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate performance of newly hired staff and staff referred on for remedial or additional training, counseling, disciplining, terminating, or extending probation as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, including at least two years with a primary focus on education and training; Medicare experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Effective oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, coaching, and organizational skills required; knowledge of computer applications required.
