About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our team as a Senior Water Resources Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals who are passionate about delivering innovative solutions to complex water resources engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor junior water resources engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Coordinate and manage water resources studies, floodplain modeling, and stormwater management projects.
  • Assist business leaders with proposal efforts, business strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and collaborate with WSP's nationally established Flood Risk Program.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering or related field.
  • PE Certification required, CFM preferred.
  • More than 8 years of experience in water resources engineering.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FEMA floodplain modeling requirements and standards.
  • Experience in digital innovation and tools applicable to the flood resilience industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR preferred).
  • Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
