Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Carollo Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing municipal water and wastewater projects for our Texas clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects of various sizes.
  • Perform engineering work in process design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including engineering services and construction management.
  • Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Work on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various water projects.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projects.
  • Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 6-12 years of water/wastewater project experience.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain within six months.
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large-sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage project teams.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
  • Design and construction phase experience.
