About the Role

AECOM is seeking a talented Water Resources Engineer II to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Water Resources Group, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from floodplain modeling and mapping studies to stormwater management analyses and drainage master-planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer
  • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
  • Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests
  • Propose approach to solve new problems encountered
  • Identify discrepancies in results
  • Provide guidance to entry-level engineers
  • Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision
  • Work with a team of project managers, water resources engineers, and GIS specialists
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Preferred qualifications: EIT, 3+ years of related experience in water resources, ability to obtain Professional Engineering License (PE) within 3 years
