Civil Engineering Intern - Water Resources Specialist

As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will assist in the preparation of preliminary analysis, project research, and field work. You will also use CAD to prepare and check working drawings, details, layouts, and estimates.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares preliminary analysis on a variety of technical tasks
  • Project research, field work, observation, and preliminary design calculations
  • Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed
  • Uses CAD to prepare and check working drawings, details, layouts, and estimates
  • Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products
  • Assist in the preparation of exhibits, plot plans, lot fits, or other similar tasks by discipline
Requirements:
  • Currently working towards completion of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrates willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field
  • Growing knowledge of profession as demonstrated by involvement in related professional organizations and professional development programs
  • Basic knowledge of the firm's policies, practices, and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of software required for position
  • Good organizational skills
  • Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computations
Compensation:

USD $18.00/Yr. - USD $23.00/Yr.
