Position Summary
Our esteemed client is seeking to incorporate a contract Microbiology Laboratory Specialist into their team. This position is a long-term contract opportunity that offers a competitive compensation rate based on qualifications and experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 8 am to 4:30 pm
Friday: 9 am to 5:30 pm
40-hour work week
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute microbiological evaluations of raw materials and formulations tailored for personal and home care products.
- Conduct microbial enumeration and prepare media/dilutions as required.
- Assess and revise microbiological Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
This position presents a remarkable opportunity to leverage your microbiological knowledge within a vibrant and collaborative setting. We welcome individuals who possess a strong foundation in biological methodologies and a keen interest in personal and home care sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Preferred experience in oral care, skin care, or home care pathogens.
- Prior exposure to biological methodologies.
- High levels of self-motivation and initiative.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications.
Additional Requirements:
- A drug screening will be conducted.
