Residential Fiber Installation Field Supervisor

A national leader in the telecommunication industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Fiber Installation Field Supervisor to oversee the installation of fiber optic networks in residential areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects, mentoring and supporting a team of installation technicians, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of FTTH in-home and SMB installation technicians
  • Coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of field staff
  • Coordinate scheduling, assist dispatch with daily job routing, and ensure adequate staffing
  • Identify problem areas in the department and communicate solutions to the Project Manager
  • Develop procedures to improve team efficiency and implement them
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to technicians
  • Assist in recruitment and training efforts
  • Interface with customers to resolve complaints and damages resulting from installation work
  • Perform quality control inspections to correct and coach any issues found
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year fiber optic or cable installation experience
  • Ability to perform mandatory job site inspections to ensure employee compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and handle multiple tasks and last-minute changes
  • Exceptional customer service experience and a team player
  • Former supervisory experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
