Job Summary

Folience Inc is seeking a skilled Liquid Spring Installation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the removal of old spring systems and installation of new liquid spring systems on emergency vehicle chassis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove and install liquid springs according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform mechanical tasks such as alignment, torque specs, and bleeding brakes.
  • Operate or learn to operate power tools such as drills, torches, torque wrenches, and impacts.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during installation.
  • Read and interpret installation instructions and technical manuals.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Apply quality assurance techniques throughout the installation process.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and cost reduction goals.
  • Understand and apply manufacturing methods and techniques relevant to the task.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain production flow.
  • Maintain excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Flexibility required for occasional early or late shifts.

  • Self-starter with strong work discipline.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and results-driven.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated with a desire for continuous personal and professional development.

Experience:

  • Previous mechanical experience required.
  • Experience in installing or working with liquid springs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Folience Inc products is advantageous.

Education:

  • High school diploma or technical training in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, grip, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Must be able to use senses of sight, touch, sound, and smell for inspection and diagnostics.

Primarily indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements.

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and airborne particles.

Noise levels are generally moderate but can vary depending on the task.
