About the Job

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Pflugerville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pflugerville, TX. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have completed a State Approved Medication Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program and possess good standing in the state registry. Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations, following company policy and procedure.
  • Observe and report reactions and side-effects to medication shown by a resident to the facility's charge nurse.
  • Take and record vital signs prior to the administration of medication which could affect or change the vital signs.
  • Report to charge nurse and document reasons prescribed drugs are not administered.
