Job SummaryThe Dialysis Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. As a key member of the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures. You will also serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support facility efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
