Electrical Construction Design

Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a highly qualified Electrical Construction Design & Management Instructor to join our faculty team. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining curriculum in line with current industry standards and practices, advising students, developing curriculum, and building and maintaining relationships with industry.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop curriculum for Electrical Construction Design & Management courses, including ECDM2104 Illumination Technology & Design, ECDM2205 Electrical Estimating, ECDM2208 Project Management, ECDM2305 Electrical Planning & Scheduling, ECDM2306 Risk Management, and ECDM2307 Advanced Estimating.
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment that fosters student growth and success.
- Monitor, assess, and advise students on their technical and academic progress and performance.
- Use current academic and industry practices in assigned courses of instruction.
- Develop and upgrade lesson material, training aids, and maintain equipment within assigned courses of instruction.
- Assist in the recruitment, advising, and placement of students.
- Meet the minimum standards required by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- Have at minimum an applicable associate's degree, related credentials, and experience in the subjects taught.
