As a Corporate Loan Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting loans by conducting thorough analyses of both corporate and individual financial statements. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Assessing loan applications through detailed examination of financial documents, conducting due diligence on borrowers and their respective industries, and ensuring compliance with AML/KYC regulations while preparing credit memos.
- Utilizing financial statement analysis to develop operating models that support comprehensive credit evaluations.
- Engaging in proactive management of the loan portfolio to track the financial health of borrowers and ensure adherence to covenants.
- Collaborating with Corporate Banking Operations and Loan Operations teams to facilitate the booking of new transactions and maintain accurate documentation within GlobalWave.
- For syndicated loans, coordinating the drawdown and repayment processes with participating banks.
- Contributing to various projects, including internal and external audits, as well as reviews of credit policies and procedures.
- Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and internal inquiries.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities to assess information and weigh risks against potential benefits.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to respond effectively to inquiries and present confidently in group settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The salary for this full-time role ranges from $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually, in addition to bonuses and benefits. Salary determinations are based on qualifications, experience, and location.
