Job Description

We are currently seeking Full-Time Security Specialists with an Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Compensation: $21.48 per hour
Available Schedules: 2nd and 3rd Shift
Weekend availability is required
A valid Driver's License is necessary for driving roles

As a Cleared Security Specialist at Allied Universal, you will be responsible for handling sensitive information and safeguarding classified data and personnel.

In this role, you will receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols tailored to your clearance level, facilitating skill enhancement and professional development in the security sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver high-quality security services, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect individuals, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
Welcome guests and employees, escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
Adhere to site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual incidents through written and verbal communication to clients and/or other security personnel.
Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alerts.
Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):
High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance appropriate for the position (national security eligibility assessments consider a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment).
Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be necessary prior to employment.

Must possess one or more of the following:
At least three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site.
Prior military service.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional customer service abilities.
Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRABLE):
Previous law enforcement or armed security experience.
Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
