Job Description:

The Össur Academy Manager, Bracing and Supports, is responsible for developing, executing, and supervising all internal and external course content in alignment with the company's overall strategy. This role requires in-depth knowledge and expertise to create customized virtual customer and sales trainings on Össur's full range of products and services. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to coordinate and execute custom digital workshops and field training events for customer education at regional and global levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and guide all internal and external bracing and supports education globally
  • Assist in providing best-in-class customer experience in relation to digital product education and onboarding
  • Develop high-level customized demonstrations and lectures on Össur's full range of Bracing & Support products for key partners, utilizing Össur Media House facilities
  • Deliver field-based training in multiple settings, including hospitals, O&P's, and orthopedic clinics
  • Report on all activity, digital training courses, field trainings, and customer contacts
  • Assist in clinical and technical training for regional sales and marketing teams
  • Maintain professional accreditation and standards
  • Maintain industry-leading professional and technical knowledge of Össur and other manufacturers' products
  • Act as a clinical stakeholder for R&D activities when required
  • Build content and provide clinical feedback on product development activities
  • Attend educational and professional workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies
  • Align stakeholders and manage expectations of training delivery
  • Identify and develop relationships with key customers to create partnerships
  • Develop processes and initiatives to support development and efficiency of the team. Track ROI and lead education analytic review on platforms such as Academy YouTube, Workday Learning, HealthStream, and Highspot.
  • Supervise clinical specialists and education managers
  • Ensure all clinical staff effectively deliver the proper clinical message via presentation tools, communication skills, and product knowledge
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as sales and marketing, to align on initiatives
  • Exercise good use of company funds and property within set guidelines. Maintain an honest and professional attitude as the company's representative
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards
  • Adhere to Company's safety rules

  • Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications:
  • Certified Orthotist, Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), or Physical Therapist (PT) credential
  • 5 years in clinical practice with supervisory responsibility or equivalent experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Premiere Pro experience preferred. Demonstrates proficient knowledge and use of Össur products. Travel required (national and international), 15%
  • Self-starter: ability to take initiative and also seek guidance when appropriate
  • Possesses good organization and time management skills
