Position Details:

  • 1st shift with flexible hours, including the possibility of a hybrid work schedule after six months.
  • Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 plus performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

The Fleet Manager will oversee the administration, upkeep, and management of the vehicle fleet to guarantee peak performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

  1. Fleet Operations Oversight: Manage daily fleet operations to ensure efficient use and availability of vehicles.
  2. Maintenance Management: Organize and oversee routine maintenance and repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
  3. Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fleet activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Implement safety measures and conduct regular training for drivers.
  4. Expense Management: Monitor and manage fleet-related costs, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs. Develop strategies to enhance cost efficiency.
  5. Supplier Relations: Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, and vehicle manufacturers.
  6. Fleet Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle performance, fuel usage, and other critical metrics. Prepare regular reports for management review.
  7. Driver Oversight: Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  8. Sustainability Practices: Implement environmentally friendly initiatives to minimize the ecological footprint of fleet operations.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  2. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
  3. A minimum of three years of experience in fleet management.
