Senior Internal Auditor Job Description

Covenant Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct complex internal audit projects, including process, financial, and compliance audits.
  • Provide consulting services to management and staff, including identifying and evaluating company risk areas.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and staff, including individual contacts and group meetings.
  • Represent Internal Audit on organizational project teams and at management meetings.
  • Provide audit coaching and guidance to Department staff.
  • Complete follow-up procedures to verify management implementation of previously developed action items.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years audit experience, with a professional, audit-oriented certification such as a CPA, CIA, or CISA.
  • Healthcare-related experience is preferred.
