As a Fitness Floor Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our members, ensuring a safe and clean workout environment, and promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere in our fitness center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Support: Provide guidance and support to members on proper exercise techniques, correct lifting form, and offer suggestions to help them achieve their fitness goals.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitness center, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor and assist with repairs or maintenance as needed.
  • Customer Service: Greet members warmly, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to member inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Program Development: Assist with scheduling appointments to develop or update members' workout programs and introduce new members to others with similar goals.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: A working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, fitness guidelines, and program development is essential. Ability to provide customer service in a polite and informed manner is also required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 25 pounds, bend, and reach overhead using proper body mechanics.
Working Conditions

The Fitness Floor Associate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with members and staff. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment is essential.

Pay Range: $10 - $12 per hour
