Minimum Required Qualifications for Patient Care Coordinator:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding
  • Proficient in electronic health record systems
  • Calm and effective in emergency situations
  • Basic math skills and adherence to safe clinic practices
  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a medical customer service role
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Capability to lift and move heavy items
  • Ability to stand or sit for long durations
  • Fine motor skills for operating medical equipment
  • Competence in driving a vehicle
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Occasional exposure to bodily fluids or infectious diseases
  • May require travel for clinic-related activities
