Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. The ideal candidate will be attentive to customer needs, handle inquiries promptly, and complete transactions efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process tickets, check baggage, and monitor carry-on baggage for size and quantity
  • Provide information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seat assignments
  • Handle denied boarding situations, solicit volunteers, re-accommodate customers, and provide hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, Allegiant Air, and airport regulations
  • Enforce safety/security measures and monitor sensitive safety zones
  • Assist customers with special needs, such as those requiring assistance in boarding
  • Complete required reports and follow up with customers regarding lost baggage, replacement of damaged bags, and other issues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; combination of education and experience considered
  • Minimum one year customer service experience
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
  • Able to attend required training and wear personal protective gear
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, sitting, talking, hearing, seeing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and using hands and fingers to operate various tools and equipment. The ability to lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds is also required. Regular attendance is a must, and some travel may be necessary.
