Program Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of hardware and circuitry for sophisticated satellite testing and measurement systems, utilizing both Common Off the Shelf (COTS) and custom hardware and software solutions. You will also implement hardware engineering best practices, which include: requirements analysis, design, and software/hardware integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Leads, Hardware Engineers, and Software Engineers to design and develop hardware and circuits for complex satellite test and measurement systems using COTS and tailored hardware and software tools.

Engage in hardware engineering best practices, including:

  • Requirements analysis
  • Documentation of requirements
  • Design processes
  • Integration of software and hardware
  • Support after deployment
  • Solid understanding of Electrical/Electronics Engineering circuit principles (analog, digital, mixed)
  • Participate in and contribute to technical design reviews and audits of design outputs.

This role necessitates interaction, planning, and coordination with cross-functional development teams and both internal and external stakeholders across various satellite programs.


Occasional domestic travel may be necessary to support formal testing and delivery.

Typical Qualifications:

  • - Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is mandatory.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronics Engineering circuit principles (analog, digital, mixed)
  • Interest in working with electronic components and detailed design of analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits, along with associated schematic and simulation tools
  • Experience with lab test equipment and strong troubleshooting skills in electrical/electronic contexts.
  • Understanding of software principles and constructs as they relate to the control of electronic circuitry components used in testing and measurement equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
